[1] K-gun charge is fired at submarine which has been
detected below the surface trying to attack the convoy. This is the third depth-charge
attack in twelve hours made by the Spencer. This contact came so
suddenly there was no time to sound General Quarters. In the upper
right-hand corner of this picture can be seen the depth-charge
hurtling over the submarine's position. |
